Women joined the RSAF, training as pilots, Air Traffic Controllers, and Air Defence Controllers.
Male dominance came to an end when women enlisted and trained to become pilots, Air Traffic Controllers, and Air Defence Controllers.
CPT Vasanti Ayadurai (right) was among the first batch of female Air Traffic Controllers who graduated in 1979.
