Career stories
"I've learned to always stay focused and look at the bigger picture in life."

Being in the RSAF has enriched my life in more ways than I could ever imagine. As an Air Force Engineer, I have learned to always stay focused and look at the bigger picture in life. Because my day-to-day job not only affects me, but also the safety of all the pilots who are flying the aircraft. Therefore, living up to my squadron's motto – "Precise and Dependable" – has also become my personal goal.
Aside from that, I also got to experience important search and rescue missions and had the chance to be a part of our National Day Parade. It was easily one of the highlights of my career, if not my life. Which is why, I feel proud every morning putting on my uniform. Because I love what I am doing and I know I am playing my part in protecting my country at the same time.
