SAF Engineering Award

The SAF Engineering Award supports in-service personnel by sponsoring their undergraduate studies in Engineering or Computer Science, ensuring they stay mission-ready.

This is for the engineers in uniform who want to push further, level up, give more, and sharpen their edge.

Application period

  • Open all-year round for in-service personnel

What it covers

  • Full tuition fees and other approved academic charges

  • Annual allowance of $14,200

Eligibility criteria

  • Singapore citizen or permanent resident intending to take up citizenship

  • Qualify for a place in a local university

  • Hold a good Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) record

  • Have strong leadership qualities

  • Possess a strong interest in a military career

Accepted courses of study

You may choose any of the following disciplines:

  • Engineering (Aerospace, Computer, Electrical & Electronic, Mechanical)

  • Business Analytics

  • Computer Science

  • Data Science

  • Other Relevant Aerospace Courses

Is there a bond?

The bond will be for 4 years, and will commence immediately upon graduation and return to service.
