Work-Study Diploma

The Work-Study Diploma allows you to complete your national service while pursuing fully sponsored diploma studies. In just 3 years, you will graduate with immense experience as an Air Force Engineer (Maintenance) – and incredible opportunities ahead in the aerospace industry.

The Work-Study Diploma (WSDip) is a 4-year program that allows you to draw regular salary in addition to the academic recognition with a fully sponsored Diploma while contributing to the defence of Singapore. Upon completion of the programme, you may choose to sign on as a Regular and be employed as an Air Force Technician with the RSAF.

What it covers

  • Full tuition fees and other approved academic charges

  • Simultaneous completion of national service

  • Regular salary and benefits during service extension

Eligibility criteria

  • Singapore citizen or permanent resident intending to take up citizenship

  • Completed a relevant Nitec course with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 2.0, or a relevant Higher Nitec course

  • Possess a strong interest in a military career
